About

I am a four-time Emmy-award-winning and Peabody Award-winning journalist based in Brooklyn, NY. I currently produce for the long-running public affairs program FRONTLINE on PBS, with the acclaimed Kirk Documentary Group. From the flagship election year film series The Choice to the Peabody-winning portrait of Supreme Court Justice Clarence and his wife, Ginni Thomas, our films are lauded for their exploration of biography and the fight for democracy.

Before joining FRONTLINE, I helped produced 47 stories over eleven seasons at 60 Minutes, the most-watched news program in history. I have produced stories in over a dozen countries for correspondents Steve Kroft, Bob Simon, Scott Pelley, Clarissa Ward, and Anderson Cooper. My reporting at 60 Minutes covered a wide range of storytelling styles, including international features, investigations, celebrity profiles, scientific reports, and current events.

Fluent in Spanish and the daughter of Chilean immigrants, I bring a unique perspective and compassion to my producing. I specialize in distilling complicated research into compelling narratives for an audience of millions of people.

Prior to 60 Minutes, I coordinated breaking news coverage between the CBS Evening News and CBS Radio News newsrooms. I worked closely with the CBS Evening News Anchor Katie Couric to produce her daily podcast, “Katie Couric’s Notebook.”

I graduated New York University in 2007 with a degree in Journalism, Latin American Studies, and Music.

Before my foray into journalism, I was the host and DJ of a weekly electronic music radio show and a state Senate candidate for Connecticut’s District 32.
